Ordering Process

We have made every effort to make our website as easy as possible to both navigate around, and to order from. However, should you experience any difficulties or you would prefer not to use our online facility, please do not hesitate to call our store in Bath where a member of staff will be more than happy to offer assistance or to take your order and payment over the phone. Please note that at present, orders for Riviera Maison furniture must be placed either in person at our store in Bath, or via phone or email, and require a 40% deposit upon ordering with the balance due on the day of delivery. All other orders placed online will be charged at 100% of the balance due.


 
Delivery Charges and Timescales

Non-furniture items


For Mainland U.K. our delivery charges are £4.95 for all non furniture purchases. For Northern Ireland and the Islands - Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man and Isle of Wight the charge is £13.95. In some cases an order over £500 may be too heavy or large and will therefore be considered a furniture order and may be charged at the £40 lowest furniture charge. We aim to deliver all non furniture orders within 5-7 business days. If you require delivery any faster then please feel free to call the store for a quote on 01225 317000.

For Southern Ireland 5-7 day only delivery is £20. (There is a Global Priority option of 2-3 days - please call the shop for a quote). All delivery prices quoted are inclusive of VAT at the prevailling rate (17.5%).

Furniture items


We can deliver any item of furniture to any where in the mainland U.K., also Northern and Southern Ireland, the Isle of Wight and the Isle of Man. For deliveries within mainland England we charge just £40, Wales £50 and Scotland £80, but please call the store where we will be happy to quote for delivery to all other locations. In most cases we aim to deliver within 4-6 weeks, but please ask upon ordering as delivery can sometimes take up to 12 weeks. As none of our furniture requires assembly (with the exception of our tables) customers should be aware that they are responsible for checking the measurements of points of access as well as the location for the item(s) they have purchased. Redwood Bay cannot be held responsible for any miscalculation in this matter. Please also refer to our returns policy.

Although every effort is made to deliver items within the above timescales, 'Redwood Bay' cannot be held responsible for delays outside its control.

Returns policy

Redwood Bay strives to offer the highest level of service possible in our industry. Our goal is to provide you the customer with the best possible experience.

Cancellation rights

You have the right to cancel any order, once accepted by us, within 7 days, or up to the time at which the goods are dispatched, whichever is the sooner. If you choose to cancel the contract within this time, any payments made by you will be returned in full within 30 days.

Please note however that as much of our furniture is specially ordered, cancellations will be subject to a 30% cancellation fee.

Non furniture returns.

Customers are asked to check the dimensions of certain goods before placing their order, to avoid any problems later. At Redwood Bay we also do our best to accurately show the colours of certain items but cannot be held responsible for how these are represented on your computer at home or work.

If you are not completely satisfied with the products you have chosen, you may return them to us within 28 days of receipt. We will then be more than happy to offer you an exchange or, at our discretion, a refund provided the goods are returned in perfect condition, unused, and with the original packaging. A customer receipt or proof of purchase is required for a refund. Please note that the cost of the return, except where the item is faulty, will be charged to you and may be deducted from any refund or exchange. Non furniture returns may also be returned to our store during our normal opening hours. Please call our store for the latest opening times.

Furniture returns

As none of our furniture requires self assembly, we ask that you carefully measure all relevant doors and access points. Please note however that if you are not completely satisfied with the furniture items you have chosen, you may return them to us within 7 days of receipt (please phone or email to make an appointment before returning furniture items to the store). We will then be more than happy to offer an exchange or, at our discretion, a refund provided the goods are returned in perfect condition, unused, and with the original packaging. A customer receipt or proof of purchase isr equired for a refund. Please note that the cost of the return, except where the item is faulty, will be charged to you and may be deducted from any refund or exchange. If you prefer, we can arrange collection for you, but the cost will be deducted from any refund or exchange.

Making a return

For all non furniture returns, please place them back in the parcel and return them to us at:

Please note we strongly recommend obtaining a proof of posting as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost in transit, with the exception of furniture items collected by ourselves. Please also ensure that items being returned are adequately insured as we cannot be held responsible for any damage incurred whilst goods are being returned.
